Additional Tickets Released for NCAA South Regional

Memphis, Tennessee — With just over 48 hours remaining until the tip-off of the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball South Regional in Memphis, additional tickets have been made available by the NCAA for the March 27th Sweet 16 Session and the March 29th Elite Eight Game at FedExForum.

Single session tickets starting at $88 will go on sale tomorrow, Thursday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. and will be available at the FedExForum Box Office, online at ticketmaster.com or through TM charge by phone at (901) 525-1515.

The event includes all top four seeds from the South Region, including No. 1 seed North Carolina, who will face off against No. 4 seed Gonzaga on Friday evening following a matchup between No. 2 seed Oklahoma and No. 3 seed Syracuse, who will tip off at 6:27 p.m. The winners of these two contests will then face off in the Elite Eight Game on Sunday.

The NCAA will also conduct an open practice day, showcasing all four teams at FedExForum on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at noon. There is no cost to attend the open practice day.

The NCAA reminds fans that purchasing tickets from secondary unauthorized vendors may result in fraudulent purchases. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets from NCAA member institutions and companies authorized by the NCAA to sell or resell championship tickets.
