Yo Gotti to throw annual ‘Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash 8’ at FedExForum on Friday, June 19

Memphis-born rap and hip-hop artist Yo Gotti is returning to FedExForum to host his eighth annual Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash on Friday, June 19.

Tickets for Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash 8 are on sale now and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com or at the FedExForum Box Office.

This year’s guest line-up will be released at a later date. Past performers at Yo Gotti’s annual birthday bashes included T.I., Gucci Mane, Nicki Minaj, Young Jeezy, Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Wayne and more.


A native Memphian, Yo Gotti began his career at the young age of 14 rapping as ‘Lil Yo.’ His sixth album, Live From the Kitchen, was considered Yo Gotti’s first major label studio album with the album’s first single “5 Star” peaking at 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album itself debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 100. Yo Gotti’s 2013 Album, I Am, featured many guest artists including Ne-Yo, YG, Wale, Jeezy and more. I Am debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart and was Yo Gotti’s highest charting and best-selling album at the time which also earned him a 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards nomination for Album of the Year. His 2017 album, I Still Am, debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and features well known hip-hop and rap artists Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage and others. In June of 2017, he released his hit “Rake It Up” featuring Nicki Minaj which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking his highest charting single in the US. Known in Memphis for his famous annual Yo Gotti & Friends Birthday Bash, each year the artist celebrates his birthday in his hometown, drawing thousands of fans to the concert event. The birthday bash often features multiple celebrity guest performances from well-known hip-hop and rap artists within the music industry.
