FedExForum to host Tailgate 901 this Saturday, November 23 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m
FedExForum is inviting all sports fans downtown to Tailgate 901, an all-day plaza party this Saturday, November 23 from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. All sports fans in the general public, including those attending the Memphis Tigers vs. Ole Miss Rebels game at noon and the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Lakers game at 7 p.m., can enjoy a day full of festivities on the FedExForum Plaza.
Throughout the day, Tailgate 901 attendees will be able to purchase food items like hot dogs and hamburgers at a fan friendly price, along with $5 beer, wine, sodas and water. Fans can play multiple tailgate games like corn hole, connect four and giant Jenga while keeping an eye on their favorite sports teams right from the plaza. There will also be Tigers and Grizzlies themed photo booths set up, and kids can join in on the festivities with face painting, balloon twisters and sign making.
In addition, there will be music spinning from local DJs and performances from Uriah Mitchell, son of Royal Studio’s Boo Mitchell, at 2 p.m. and Aristocrunk rappers Lord T & Eloise at 5:30 p.m. The GrizzLine will also be in attendance for a special performance.
Tailgate 901 is open to the general public, and those who wish to make their way inside FedExForum to that day’s Tigers vs. Rebels or Grizzlies vs. Lakers game can purchase tickets at the FedExForum Box Office or at ticketmaster.com.
Fans who register for Grizzlies and FedExForum E-News on site will have the chance to win various Grizzlies prizes. For more information, ‘like’ FedExForum on Facebook or follow @FedExForum on Twitter and Instagram.
