In 2007, Bryan released his debut album I’ll Stay Me, where he co-wrote 10 of its 11 songs. In 2009, the singer-songwriter’s fourth single “Do I” reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. The single was included in his second studio album Doin’ My Thing. In addition, Bryan also earned his first two No. 1 country singles from that same album with “Someone Else Calling You Baby” and “Rain Is a Good Thing.”
Bryan’s third studio album Tailgates & Tanlines was not released until two years later in the summer of 2011. He earned the No. 1 spot on the Top Country Albums, and the album hit No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The following year, he notched his first AMA win with Favorite Male Country Artist. In 2013, the artist brought in five No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart that were all featured on his fourth studio album, Crash My Party, which would go on to win Top Country Album at the Billboard Music Awards. Bryan was also named CMA Entertainer of the Year for two straight years in 2014 and ’15.
The award-winning country artist later released two more studio albums – Kill the Lights and What Makes You Country – both of which earned him record-breaking accolades. Outside of the recording studio, Bryan performed the National Anthem during Super Bowl LI in 2017. That same year, he was announced as a judge on ABC’s American Idol and has been working alongside musical greats Katy Perry and Lionel Richie since last year.
