Memphis 90's Block Party Tour
The Memphis 90’s Block Party Tour will hit FedExForum on Friday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. bringing fans a nostalgic throwback show. This year’s tour will be headlined by Guy featuring Teddy Riley, creators of the New Jack Swing Style, and fans can also expect some of their favorite hip hop, R&B and soul artists including Jagged Edge, 112, Dru Hill and Faith Evans on this year’s throwback tour.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 19 at 10 a.m. and are available at all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com, the FedExForum Box Office or by phone at (800) 745-3000. There will also be an exclusive FedExForum presale this Thursday, January 18 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. available to all Memphis Grizzlies’ MVP Season Ticket Holders, Grizzlies’ e-news subscribers, recipients of FedExForum Event Alert e-mail communications, or by connection with FedExForum and the Grizzlies on their social sites.
Founded by super-producer Teddy Riley, Guy’s 1988 self-titled debut album became an instant smash with R&B hits such as “I Like,” “Groove Me,” and “Teddy’s Jam.” The group’s producer, Teddy Riley, became an in-demand songwriter and producer working with artists like Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Keith Sweat, among others. The group’s second album, The Future, also produced many R&B hits with hits like “Wanna Get Wit U” and “Let’s Chill” taking the album to platinum status.
